The Laburnum top is an interesting poem written by Ted Hughes. 

According  to the poem has described Laburnum  top which is a tree. Its flowers are yellow  colours and seeds are poisonous. In the month of September the seed of Laburnum fell down. Their lived a birds on that tree named Goldfinch.  It is a small singing  bird with yellow  feathers  on its wings. Generally  the tree is very silent  but when the Goldfinch  comes at that tree, its children  began to make sound. They become very happy to see their mother.  As long ass the birds lives on the tree, their is a sound from the tree the mother called his like engine  which  regulates  the machine (the children).After some time the mother got flies  away from the tree and their become  silent  again.
